MioTechnology Corporation, a subsidiary of MiTAC International Corporation, is a Taiwanese electronics manufacturer that specialises in pocket computers, personal digital assistants (PDAs), smartphones and personal navigation devices (PNDs). It sells products under the "Navman" and "Mio" brands. The Mio product line is designed to allow users to enjoy mobile revolution in terms of travel, entertainment, leisure, information and professional services freely. The company released its first smartphone, the Mio Leap A701, in 2005, which is powered by Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC. In 2009, the Taiwanese firm released its last two smartphones, Mitac Mio Explore k70 and k75, two phones with similar features. They feature a 3.5-inch touch screen for a resolution of 240x400 pixels and are pushed by a single core processor that runs at 528 Mhz. The k70 and k75 have 256 MB internal memories that can be expanded via a micro SD card with 128 MB RAM. They are also equipped with a 3.15 megapixel camera on the back and a VGA resolution front camera for videoconferencing. Users can connect to the internet via Wi-Fi or using the WAP network. Despite the fact that the Mio brand's newborns are successful with their fans, especially thanks to the presence of GPS. Unfortunately for them, there will be no more successors to k70 and k75.
