Meizu, a Chinese company that specialises in smartphones and multimedia players, was founded in 2003, the year when it also launched its first mobile phones: Meizu X6 and E3. Currently, the Chinese firm accounts for 18% of the global smartphone market. Meizu released a range of high-end smartphones, including the first model called Meizu MX, released in 2012, followed by MX 4-core, MX3, MX4, MX4 Pro and MX5, and recently the MX6, which is also the flagship model of the brand. The Meizu X6 is a dual SIM model, powered by Android 6.0, and enjoying a 10-core processor, with a non expandable 32 GB of internal memory and 4 GB of RAM. As for the display, it features a 5.5-inch HD resolution screen (1080x1920 pixels). The MX6 is equipped with a 12 megapixel camera capturing Full HD videos at 2160p, plus a 5-megapixel front sensor ideal for selfies and videoconferences. This high-end smartphone is also equipped with an unlocking system via a fingerprint scanner and its USB is type-C, that is to say reversible. For the moment, no information on the possible release of new Meizu smartphones has been unveiled, although the quality of the latest released models suggests the best for the future.
