Packard Bell is a Netherlands-based company founded in 1933 in the United States by Leon S. Packard and Herbert A. Bell. Originally a manufacturer of radio receivers, the company later embarked on the electronics and computer industry. A subsidiary of the Taiwanese manufacturer Acer since 2008, Packard Bell is no longer present on the US market, unlike the European market where it has a good market share. Packard Bell launches its Liberty Tab in June 2011 and instead of completely innovating, uses Acer's Iconia Tab base. Liberty Tab G100 has a touch screen with a resolution of 1280x800 pixels on a 10.1-inch panel. It embeds a dual core Nvidia Tegra processor that runs at 1 GHz and Android 3.0 operating system. The Packard Bell tablet is available in 16 GB or 32 GB versions of internal memory, expandable via micro SD card or micro SDHC, with a RAM of 1 GB. It is equipped with a 5-megapixel main camera and a second sensor, positioned frontally, at 2 megapixels. A USB port and HDMI output are available to enjoy your movies in theatre style.
